Staff Analyst, FRM

KPMG's Financial Risk Management (FRM) team work with our clients to help in a variety of risk management and risk management related issues. Working with financial institutions and other corporate entities in a broad array of FRM services; our clients can benefit from our knowledge and experience.

Our FRM team is an integral part of a global practice that helps clients to identify their exposures, develop a risk management strategy that can maximize competitive advantage and business performance, and apply an in-depth risk management discipline, supported by leading tools and experienced specialist resources.

Job Description

As a member of our FRM team, the successful candidate will assist their superiors who will be providing support to the Audit, Tax and Advisory service lines.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • You will be reporting mainly to the Supervisors and Managers in FRM. 
  • You will primarily be responsible for pulling market data from vendors in support of the fair value measurement assessments and updating the Instaval Database accordingly. 
  • You will Interact with internal clients on the valuation assurance desk, managing expectations for service delivery and providing superior customer service.

The requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Either an Associates, Bachelors, Graduate degree or equivalent in accounting finance from an accredited program;
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average;
  • Desire to achieve a recognized valuation designation in the near future (FRM, CFA);
  • Ability to multi task and work simultaneously on several projects;
  • Great interpersonal skills;
  • Strong spoken and written communication.
