Senior Manager, Tax
The rapid internationalization and increasing sophistication of business means a rewarding career in Tax at KPMG. We use our in-depth technical knowledge, and our understanding of how tax fits into the broader business picture, to work with our clients to help them manage their US income tax reporting requirements. We advise our clients on US foreign reporting rules so they can meet their compliance responsibilities across a wide range of areas, including captive insurance, hedge fund and private equity reporting.
Job Description
As a member of our tax management team, the Senior Manager will assist the U.S. Tax Partner by providing a high level of tax knowledge, understanding and judgement. The Senior Manager will assist in the growth and development of our U.S. Tax practice, while participating and supervising the preparation of U.S. income tax returns for clients including specialized areas such as property and casualty insurance, international executive taxation, and hedge funds / private equity funds. This role will involve supervision of tax staff.
Applicants must have at least 6-8 years experience in the field of U.S. Taxation, public accounting and/or in a professional services environment with a specialization in U.S. Tax matters. Applicants must poccess a professional accounting designation (e.g. CPA, CA, ACCA), Enrolled Agent designation, or an LLM designation. This position requires an attention to detail, the ability to work well at one’s own initiative and within a small team, and to meet tight deadlines. The candidate will need to be able to work a flexible schedule as overtime is required.
