Roles and Responsibilities:

We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Manager who is comfortable working collaboratively with others. We need people who can understand complex problems, shape solutions and communicate with a clear and engaging style.  Indicative responsibilities of the role include: 

  • Work closely with a variety of senior clients across Banking, Insurance and or Asset Management including long-term relationship development, often managing concurrent engagements and business development activities
  • Manage complex projects across our FS ESG capabilities, leading a team of consultants
  • Project managing engagements to deliver high quality work in a timely manner to include scoping / financial management (budgeting) / engagement and risk management / production and review of deliverables
  • Fee generation through actively identifying and progressing business development opportunities, as well as managing sales activities such as proposal development and client presentations
  • Provide specialist and technical input and review of others’ inputs in the design and development of ESG transformation deliverables
  • Contribute to the growth of our FS ESG practice through supporting business and proposition development activity, particularly developing thought leadership
  • Work closely with a mixture of onshore and offshore team members
  • Coaching and developing team members through sharing of experience and knowledge, as well as managing the performance and development of other team members

The Requirements:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Master's degree, additional professional designations like CFA would be a plus
  • Profound sustainability advisory and/or sustainable finance experience, finance industry experience would be an asset
  • ESG or impact experience with family offices, multilateral organizations or charitable organizations is a plus
  • Deep understanding of the ESG and sustainable finance landscape
  • Strong familiarity with key ESG concepts and frameworks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced professional environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work on multiple or complex projects simultaneously
  • Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand the clients' business and maintain strong client relationships
  • Dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service in the performance of duties
